Christmas Studio Assistant – Temporary 6-Week Role

 

Zeenyah is looking for a reliable, organised and enthusiastic Christmas Studio Assistant to support the studio during our busy Christmas and New Year period. This is a paid temporary role ideal for someone who is genuinely passionate about hair, wigs and the beauty industry. 

 

You will work closely alongside Zeenyah, helping with the day-to-day running of the studio while gaining valuable exposure to professional wig services, client work, styling, colouring, wig construction and social media.mThe role is practical and hands-on, so we are looking for someone who is happy to get involved, work efficiently and help keep the studio running smoothly.

 

Key tasks will include:

• Washing and conditioning wigs

• Blow-drying and preparing wigs for styling

• Basic wig styling and finishing

• Preparing wigs for client appointments and collections

• Stock checks and inventory organisation

• Organising hair, products, tools and supplies

• Cleaning and maintaining the studio

• Keeping workstations tidy throughout the day

• Assisting with general client preparation

• Supporting with content and social media where required

• Helping organise orders and Christmas workload

 

The ideal candidate will be punctual, dependable, tidy, confident following instructions and genuinely interested in developing within the hair and wig industry.

 

Hours: 16 hours per week across 3 days

Days: Monday, Friday and Saturday

Pay: £13 per hour

Contract: 6 weeks over the Christmas and New Year period
